A teacher will display in the 'In Process' or 'Not Started' segment of the Professional Practice dashboard pie chart if their Professional Practice evaluation status has not yet been set to complete. A teacher who has a 'Complete' status Professional Practice evaluation means that all of their minimum Professional Practice requirements have been fulfilled.
To set a teacher's Professional Practice evaluation status to Complete, the principal must go to the Observations and Artifacts page (see Principal Guide to the Observations and Artifacts Page for instructions for accessing the page), and then click the "Complete" button at the lower right side of the screen, as shown in picture 2.

The "Status" block in the upper left corner displays a list of requirements needed to set the Professional Practice evaluation to complete. The checklist item will display a red 'x' if the requirements are not fulfilled, a green checkmark if partially fulfilled, and a star if completely fulfilled. The following rules must be met in order to set a teacher's Professional Practice evaluation to complete status:
- A minimum of 5 out of 6 Domain 1 components must be scored in a completed observation
- A minimum of 4 out of 5 Domain 2 components must be scored in a completed observation
- A minimum of 4 out of 5 Domain 3 components must be scored in a completed observation
- A minimum of 5 out of 6 Domain 4 components must be scored in a completed observation
- The teacher must have 1 announced observation completed
- The teacher must have 1 unannounced observation completed
- Domain 2 must be scored in two completed observations
- Domain 3 must be scored in two completed observations
- Post-Conference Completed for All Observations
The Status window will show whether or not the teacher has met all of the rules. When they have met the rules, their Status window will display as shown below. Once all requirements have been met, the principal can use the 'Complete' button to set the teacher's Professional Practice evaluation status to Complete. The 'Complete' button is at the lower right side of the screen, as shown in picture 2.

Once the 'Complete' button is clicked the status will change from "Meets Requirements" to "Completed" as shown below:
