Principal Guide to Pie Chart Filters

The pie chart displays segments as shown below. Principals can click on any segment to view teachers who have Professional Practice evaluation statuses within that group.

Teachers are grouped into segments based on their current Professional Practice evaluation progress. The segments are defined as follows:

• Not Started: The teacher has no Professional Practice observations scheduled or started.
• In Process: The teacher has at least 1 Professional Practice observation scheduled or started.
• Completed: The teacher's Professional Practice evaluation has been completed. This means the minimum Professional Practice rules from the district have been fulfilled for that teacher and a principal clicked the 'Complete' button on the teacher's Observations & Artifacts page to finalize their Professional Practice evaluation.

Principals can view historic pie charts and teacher observations by selecting the desired school year in the school year filter on the upper right side of the page, as shown below. The default selection is the current school year.
