Different scores are required depending on the teacher's score type and cohort. When the scores are sent from the school or entered through TEAMS, they will be processed overnight and will display in the Teacher Dashboard the following day.
If a teacher has any questions about their scores shown on the Teacher Dashboard, please contact their school administrator and/or principal.
The Combined Score block on the far left side of the Teacher Dashboard will display the sum of all scores (Student Growth and Professional Practice), as shown in Figure 2 below.
In Figure 2, the teacher received a total of 35.14 for their Professional Practice scores and 20 for their Student Growth scores. The total combined score is 55.14.
Professional Practice Scores
The Professional Practice domains are listed on the far right side of the screen, shown in Figure 3. Based on the teacher's score type and cohort these domain scores may or may not be required. If the scores are required then they will either be pulled from previous year records OR they will be entered directly into TEAMS by the principal, using the Professional Practice sub-module.
Once the system processes Professional Practice scores for the teacher the blocks will display in a light blue color as shown in Figure 3.
The teacher can click on the button to view the score they received for the components within that domain. If the teacher clicks on the "Professional" block in Figure 3, then they will see the domain 4 component scores as shown in Figure 4:
The meters align to specific components within Domain 4. They are listed in alphabetical order from left to right (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f). If the teacher clicks on the 4d meter "Participating in the Professional Community", then they will see the observation that was used to create that score as shown in Figure 5.
The teacher can click on the date link in the "Observation Date" column to access the observation that this score came from. When they click on the date link shown above, the observation summary PDF download option should appear in the teacher's browser.
Student Growth Scores
The Student Growth domains are listed on the far right side of the screen, shown in Figure 7. The image shown in Figure 7 is for a Standard score type teacher. Teachers may see different blocks based on their score type.
The teacher can click on the block to view the score they received within that domain. If the teacher clicks on "SLOs", they will see the scores for their teacher SLOs, as shown in Figure 8.
The SLO blocks will display the point value of each SLO. The teacher can click on either block to view the SLO that the score was derived from, shown in Figure 9. In Figure 9 the teacher had clicked on the "Teacher SLO #1" block.
The SLO Title column will display the title of the teacher's SLO, and the Score Model column will display the percent value of the SLO score.
The teacher can click on the SLO title link to view the SLO that this score came from. The system will take the teacher to the SLO Management page and the SLO used for Teacher SLO #1 will display, as shown in Figure 10.
