Once the Walkthrough goes into the 'Submitted to Observer' status, the principal can open the Walkthrough and use the 'Complete' button to set it to "Completed" status. This is shown below.
Setting the Walkthrough to "Complete" is the last step of the process. Once it is complete, both teacher and principal can view or print the Walkthrough. No changes can be made to the Walkthrough form after it has been set to Complete.
Depending on the status of the Walkthrough, the principal or teacher can take action. Please see below for a list of actions per Walkthrough status.
- Not Started: The teacher has not had any Walkthroughs started for them. Principals can start a new Walkthrough by clicking on the teacher's name and clicking the 'New' button.
- In Process: The principal has started at least one Walkthrough for the teacher.
- The teacher cannot see the Walkthrough while it is in this status.
- Submitted to Teacher: The principal has started a Walkthrough and clicked 'Submit to Teacher' in order for the teacher to post their feedback.
- The principal cannot make changes to the Walkthrough while it is in this status.
- Principals can only click 'Submit to Teacher' once.
- The teacher must take the next step of action when the Walkthrough is in this status.
- Submitted to Principal: The teacher has clicked the 'Submit to Principal' button in order to send the Walkthrough back to the principal user.
- The principal cannot make changes to the text or checkboxes in the Walkthrough while it is in this status. The principal can only set the Walkthrough to Complete, or delete the Walkthrough while it is in this status.
- The teacher cannot open the Walkthrough while it is in this status.
- The principal must take the next step of action when the Walkthrough is in this status.
- Completed: The teacher has at least one Walkthrough that has been completed, meaning both the principal and teacher submitted their input and the principal clicked 'Complete'.
- Neither the principal nor teacher can make changes to the Walkthrough while it is in this status. They will have a view-only access of the completed Walkthrough.
